Love this blanket

Due to joint issues I decided to use an electric blanket (for pain relief). But I was skeptical for many reasons. I've never had it. Then I bought one and hated it. I am very sensitive to touch and the wires in "normal" electric blankets annoy me like hell. Not to mention that although it had dial settings, it was mostly hot (legs burned) or not, and the material felt like a piece of felt. Completely unacceptable. So, to be honest, I was very skeptical about this blanket and afraid that I would

Duvet fails after 45 days of use

Queen Automatic Duvet, Olive. I bought this blanket in November 2010 as a Christmas present. This is a dual control electric blanket with a claimed 5 year warranty. A page stopped working after 30 days. After 2 weeks the other side stopped working. The Revain had expired so I had to send it in to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. This is a very good blanket, but it's not enough. The instructions state that no part of the blanket can be tucked in, while my old blanket was able to tuck in the edges. The sleeping pad has a special "warm setting" that quickly heats the blanket…

defect out of the box. 2nd time was a spell.

2nd edit: While the manufacturer did an excellent job of replacing this comforter when it failed, I've had to go to them too many times for a warranty replacement. Literally every year I had to turn in a blanket for replacement. It broke at the end of winter, or if it worked when we put it away for a year, it didn't work when we took it out of the closet in the fall. After the 2nd or 3rd exchange they even upgraded me to a nicer model because it was out of stock. Unfortunately, the more…
