My trusty electric blanket finally broke so I bought this heating pad to sleep in. The temperature in my bedroom often drops to 63 degrees at night, and my old blanket kept me perfectly warm at a temperature set halfway up its dial. not warm enough. 2nd edit: While the manufacturer did an excellent job of replacing this comforter when it failed, I've had to go to them too many times for a warranty replacement. Literally every year I had to turn in a blanket for replacement. It broke at the end of winter, or if it worked when we put it away for a year, it didn't work when we took it out of the closet in the fall.
