I wanted something bronze colored to hang a bronze towel rail on a rail rather than using the supplied screws through the screw holes. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but went ahead as they looked like a perfect fit and most likely worked compared to the S hooks which would require more precise alignment to the rails and bolt holes. These were just perfect! They open easily, close easily and securely, the match really was perfect. I'm so happy!

Not recommended unless you need something temporary and inexpensive to get by. At least they appear to be all metal, albeit cheap and flimsy. My paint hasn't peeled off in a few months. The clasps are not very strong and of poor quality, and the pair sort of opened themselves. The hinges are flimsy and fragile. But the loops are not used often - just put them on for the first time, and when you throw them away - take them off.

Inconsistent quality of the set of rings - some are perfect (open and close well and securely) some are not (doesn't align when closed or hinge opens and does not close without binding). Also, they don't slide well on my cornice, especially on the "bulge" where the cornice tubes run. We have had these rings for over a year and they are not stainless steel at all. The manufacturer incorrectly labels the product. We got a conscientious, USA made, durable stainless steel shower rod (not a big cheap box) from a high end manufacturer due to the width of our shower stall as we couldn't use an extendable rod.
