Is working! Auto shop with doors open at 80% humidity to compressor

I have an auto shop. We paint about 20 cars a week and I've had water issues since in western Pennsylvania with 80% humidity my doors are usually open in the summer.I installed two dryers about 100 feet from my compressor (we have two lines branching off the main line) and everything is in Alright They automatically discharge at night when the system is off and the water doesn't seem to flow exactly as advertised.

Pros
  • 1/2" female NPT inlet and outlet fittings for use with existing air lines
Cons
  • Not bad but...

THIS IS A (WATER)TRAP!

I ran about 1000 gallons of compressed air through my 60 gallon compressor and the trap was half filled with dry Colorado winter air. Flows great. I use this water trap between my compressor condenser and compressor tank. The tank is dry and the paint I am airbrushing is dry. I love this damn thing. The water in the photo is green because I use copper tubing in my compressor installations. Update: This trap is amazing! It's still catching tons of water from the condenser.

Pros
  • To remove water vapor from the airflow
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Absolute winner. CNC workshop.

Once installed, I doubt the validity of our $1400 dehumidifier. It is so good. So much water gets into our plumbing during the wet months that it sometimes feels like water is spraying out of a high-pressure hose (very long plumbing is to blame). There are CNC machines at my end of the lines (hence the dryer). and we couldn't blow the chips away without spraying water. Far from ideal. Now that it's in place, all the water is gone. We keep the air blast short as the model we received…

Pros
  • RoHS Compliant for Hazardous Substances
Cons
  • Unreliable
