Snugg IPad Air 2 Leather Smart Cover Case With Kick Stand And Built-In Stand - Black Review

This is a well made product that will protect my IPad from small drops. It is well made and the materiL does not look cheap, even though it is not real leather.The fit is not as tight as I would like so the iPad moves around in the case a LITTLE, only enough that sometimes it is hard to use the controls by sliding your finger from the bottom of the screen. I also wish there was a pocket in the flip side of the case.I did leave comments but would buy this product again.

Love it! It's almost perfect. It needs come kind of attachment to secure it when opened. So the hand insert is great. The easier it is to read the better. I like the option of holding it without grasping the sides, but when it's opened in this fashion it isn't secured except by weight of the device. Other than that one thing it's a home run. I bought one of these based on good reviews. When it arrived the auto shut off feature did not work. Apparently the magnets were not aligned correctly. I emailed Snugg about the problem and within a few days I received a new one, no questions asked. This is my second purchase of this product. Just upgraded the iPad and decided that since I had never had any problems with my last Snugg case, I would buy it again. The leather had also held up well on the old one and was easy to keep clean. The new one works perfectly and keeps my iPad 2 in place. Don't really care for the hand strap because it is awkward to use.

Upon contacting customer service via email they corrected the problem immediately and sent me the correct product which was a perfect fit for the new IPad Air 2. Great little case. Reasonably priced and durable. The hand strap is well placed and useful. I would and might buy another. My complaint is that it somehow blocks the light sensor on my iPad Air 2. The device typically adjusts its lighting according to the lighting conditions, but inside the case it cannot sense the light. I simply adjust the light settings manually now. Edit: I recently received my replacement Snugg cover. It arrived slightly buckled, hence I've taken away a star. Otherwise, so far, so good. It looks really nice and my previous issue with the dim light sensors has been resolved. I have not dropped it yet so I can't say how well it would protect my iPad under those circumstances. I used to own an iPad 2, and the case I used had elastic bands that would secure the cover in place allowing me to lie on my back in bed and use my iPad. My old case had a rotating hand strap as well, which was really convenient.For the Snugg, I knew the hand strap didn't rotate when I bought it, so I have no qualms with that. UPDATE: I received the new model from customer service, which has cutouts for the light sensors, and it's an amazing case! Just as good as the one I had for my iPad 2. Second Snugg I have owned. The first one fit a much older IPad and does not fit the new IPad Air 2. Nevertheless the old Snugg wore very well and would have been perfectly adequate if the fit had been right. The Snugg is durable, good looking and will protect your tablet from most potential wear and tear. Get one!

This case seems like a cheap Chinese knock off of the original Snugg product I bought for my old iPad four years ago. I loved that case and didn't hesitate to order another Snugg when my new iPad arrived.The frame does not sit square around the screen, which blocks certain functions such as the like button on Facebook. This case seems nearly perfect for my new iPad Air 2. My only complaint lies in a seemingly poor design decision. In order to use the handle strap, the case must be open exposing the iPad screen. Seems like they should have made it to use with unit closed.
