My bearded dragon is much happier!

It's worth the money! I have adjusted the lighting in my animal terrarium to the light requirements. I was surprised when his colors really started to show! A must have for those with creatures that require ultraviolet light.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Does the job

I needed this meter to read the UVB lights for my iguanas. That works great. I was hesitant about which flow meter to buy but settled on a cheaper version than buying the 6.5-R. It works if you know how to read the meter (which is easy - look it up online).

Pros
  • change price

A must have for any reptile owner

If you keep reptiles, especially diurnal ones, this is a must have. You'll also save a lot of money because you'll be replacing your UV bulbs when they really go down instead of having to replace them every few months. With this unit, for example, I found that my 20W Zilla UVB10 lamp was as good as new after a year and a half of daily use, while the Chinese MH lamp, which I had high hopes for, produced no UVB.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
