All three units not working upon arrival

I soldered them and connected them to a working raspberry pi, nothing from them. VCC 3.3V, GND, SCL/SDA are connected. Running i2cdetect -y 1 yields neither. The main request is not answered. (Note: if I just port the connections to another carrier's device, they work fine).

Pros
  • Communication modes: IIC standard communication protocol
Cons
  • High price

Calibration sketch could not be completed

All example sketches provided seem to work except ONE that needed to be run: Calibration procedure. When this is running it tells me to move the board in all directions until the sketch tells me to stop and gives me a set of calibration values to add to my sketches. I ran the calibration repeatedly, and sometimes it would count up to 30,000 and then stop doing anything. On other occasions he would count to a few hundred and stop. Very unpredictable. The last time I ran it, I moved the sensor as

Pros
  • Power supply: 3-5V

All three blocks are dead on arrival

I soldered them and hooked them up to a working raspberry pi, nothing from them. VCC 3.3V, GND, SCL/SDA connected. Running i2cdetect -y 1 yields neither. The main request is not answered. (Note: If I just port the connections to another carrier's device, they work fine).

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • So far so good
