Works well. - Temperature and humidity

Plugs into a 120 volt outlet. Plug the temperature probe into your freezer/fridge and you're done. The alarm is louder than I thought. Beep-beep-beep-beep. The sound will continue until you turn it off. There is a temperature control and an alarm delay of 1 hour. If the door is opened during loading or unloading, the temperature will rise and an alarm will go off. The one hour delay prevents the tone from playing until the cool box has cooled down.

Pros
  • Temperature and humidity
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good product - does what it's supposed to do

Nothing special but works great. Bought due to dry contact. I have mine connected to a Z-Wave repeater reporting to a Smartthings hub. I run the Supco and MIMOLite Z-Wave relays in their native 12V DC (battery) mode, so I still get alarms during power outages. The device comes with a 12V DC power outlet. The sensor can be extended up to 200 feet using 24 AWG wire (speaker). I suppose I could do something for less money, but I like to use standard footage.

Pros
  • Temperature gauge
Cons
  • A few minor things

It's garbage. Buyer Warning.

The alarm I bought in this photo is junk. I spoke to Supco tech support and they said the alarm is covered by a one year manufacturer warranty on this product and I can return it through Revain but I see my return window is closed. I bought them to have extras but they are junk. When I spoke to tech support they told me they are now made in China and if I don't like them just send them back. We just installed them this week and none of them are working properly. I hope they like my money…

Pros
  • Test, measure and check
Cons
  • No automatic
