Worked surprisingly well

Glad to have this set at home now. I've watched a few videos on how to use it - you should too. Forget the included instructions, the video shows how to do it much better. I pulled out a few small dents on our car with ease - by no means a flawless result - but made the dents about 70% less noticeable with a little work. Note that this is not "magic" and requires some thought about puller placement. and lightly lubricate the elbow with isopropyl alcohol to remove the adhesive residue later…

I don't know how it would work, but definitely not for hail.

We had hail so I had about 15 small dents on my hood. I couldn't get that thing to pull her. I started with the lightest glue and the tongue came off almost immediately with a little pressure. I switched to black glue. It took a little longer but still hasn't turned into a very shallow dent. Switched to the strongest glue. It just made it very difficult for him to get him out of the SUV. If he had removed the dent I would have returned it and tried to clean it. But I tried the last one. With a…

Works as advertised when done correctly.

The 42 DRP tools I ordered worked fine. I read the reviews both for and against and concluded that the negative reviewers probably didn't do their homework. Everything worked as advertised. I spent a couple of hours watching YouTube tutorials before I started learning different dent removal methods and when I followed them it worked. It's not something that only takes 10 minutes, it takes patience and time. I fixed a dent in the door of our Equinox that took about 12 hours to repair, but…

Cons
  • No

Okay, here's the thing. I used to watch a TON of PDR videos on YouTube. and during. my ownership and use of this collection of tools. And these videos are very misleading. The subtle sophistication used by the PDR master in each of these videos makes it seem like a novice can do the same with the tools. Not so! The tools offer excellent value for money and are easy to understand and use. But the truth is that even if I buy a wonderful set of brushes and paints, I still need a LOT of experience…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

PROBLEM: Our car had 5 fairly noticeable dents on the bodywork: The driver's door (1), the trunk lid (1), the driver's side rear wheel well (3). Very professional set, including a fairly complete set of necessary things. PROCEDURE: Degrease the dent with alcohol. Attach one or more tabs to the door using hot glue. Wait a few minutes for the glue to cool. Use gold. Anodized puller to gently grab the tab outwards and pull out the dent. TIP 1: You end up not working the glue leaving a drop of hot…
