Good portable winch for light duty

I live three miles off a major highway in the mountains of Wyoming. In the winter I have to plow our road with a UTV. There will invariably be several places where I get high from the snowdrift. I cannot use the UTV winch as it is used to steer the plow. I have this battery powered winch to help me get out of snowdrifts when I'm high centered. Decent but not quite what I expected

I also have a SuperHandy Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher and a SuperHandy Disinfector/Blower and it's very handy that they all use the same charger and battery. I also installed an electric winch with plastic rope (different brand) on the tractor and it is different day and night. Both have their advantages and limitations. This is an unusual capstan winch puller that is a cordless design with a 48V 2.0Ah Li-Ion battery pack. As it is not attached to anything it needs to be securely attached to an object using the supplied sling for the 2 red steel hooks on the back of the capstan winch. This requirement is best met when using a log where the line is NOT wrapped in multiple turns as the winch must rotate to take the load.
