I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Got pros: Sound quality, signal reception strength, fine tuning, mp3 playback The sound is very cool and clean for its price, it cannot be compared with the old Vitka. DSP is great stuff. I would rate the stock speakers at 4.5/5, they are very good. You can connect external speakers, an external antenna. Very convenient tuning to radio stations, you can drive in the frequency, and auto-tuning, support for an extended VHF range. Everything is very cool. Different cons: On a trifle, the mp3 modu

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Excellent radio for the city and the countryside. Mp3 player. It is not difficult to understand all the numerous functions with instructions in 2022. Definitely recommend at the current price of 5350. With its pros: Not big size. Stereo. Build quality and signal reception. Lots of useful features. Its cons: Price. Weak sound, but for this size it is possible and you should not expect more.

    Good product, not disappointed.

This is my 2nd Tecsun receiver. The first one was a good experience in the Hong Kong region in the HF bands. I gave it to elderly relatives for use in hospitals. Therefore, I bought myself the same company, but a little more advanced. Got pros: VHF-FM range. Decent sound. Compact, lightweight, has a thermometer and clock. There is also a soft case. Cons below: Difficult setup. In the ranges of DV, SV and KV, nothing worthwhile has yet been found. Maybe this is due to the fact that I live within

an excellent device (for its purpose). You don’t need to demand good sound from it - you won’t squeeze much out of such speakers, and if you put others and pull a better sound out of it, the batteries will quickly run out. This is a small portable machine, and it meets its purpose. good workmanship (like all texans). more than 1.5 years of hard use (I take it to work on the street) at home successfully and conveniently like an alarm clock. nothing broke and did not cause inconvenience. ) I…

    Pros
    • excellent radio reception (used mainly by fm), useful and necessary additives-watch. Alarm clock. Backlight. Thermometer, etc. -everything
    Cons
    • Poor player-few functions. A memory could be added to the package

Its pros: Good sensitivity and selectivity. Separates nearby stations. Stereo sound. There is an indicator of signal strength and air temperature Some cons: Although stereo, but the sound is mediocre, I do not like it. Dial buttons with numbers have to be literally pushed through, they are completely insensitive.

Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

In the beginning, there were only two of them (I bought one for my wife, the other for my mother). One of them would hang up once a month, or even more frequently, and would no longer respond to any buttons that were pressed. The only way to bring it back to life is to unplug the power supplies, wait for the LCD display to become free of any inscriptions (this should take approximately an hour; on the inside, you should be able to see a capacitive capacitor), and then plug the power supplies…

    Pros
    • 1. There is also the VHF. 2. Digital tuning, the ability to save settings, and a wheel that makes it simple to navigate between channels. 3. An assured reception, even when traveling outside of the city Cheaper receivers can only pick up strong radio stations (for instance, those that are less than 4,000 rubles, the Ekho Moskvy and Grad Petrov radios reproduce with strong noise even within the boundaries of St. Petersburg, but this one is clean!), so if you want to listen to the radio, spend your money on a more expensive model. 4. A sound quality that is acceptable. 5. Having a low weight and being compact.
    Cons
    • 1. Will occasionally become frozen. 2. If there are too many functions, too many complex and non-obvious control options, and an abundance of buttons on both sides, there is a chance that the wrong one will be pressed by accident. It is possible, for instance, to inadvertently set off the sleep timer; but, in order to deactivate it, you will need to read the instructions first; the appropriate order of steps is not immediately apparent. 3. The lifespan of one of the three copies that were purchased was relatively short. 4. Quite expensive (but the reception quality is worth it).

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

I'm way past 60. I soldered my first "stereo receiver" when I was 15 years old, and as far as I can remember, I was born with headphones. Now, regarding the 398th, specifically regarding the sound (more than enough has been written about other parameters). The sound quality of the receiver's built-in speakers definitely falls short of those of its other features. Yet you can't trick physics, as audiophiles will tell you. My experience has taught me that lying to others is not required, though…

    Pros
    • opportunities for customization. interfaces for connections (external antenna, headphones, MP3). extended telescoping antenna (90 cm). stereo (headphones and speakers). extensive backlit display. Size. Weight. housing substance (odorless). Case.
    Cons
    • the speakers' built-in audio. how big the setting buttons are. Insecurity due to moisture and dust.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

As I already own numerous Tecsun radios, I can speak authoritatively about this particular model. This receiver's predecessor, the Tecsun PL-390, was much better than the 398th. One) The stereo is fantastic, but the sound quality is much better at 390. The 398th awful stereo. In my defense, I'll point out that this is the only stereo receiver now available. 2) Greater size, greater thickness, and greater size overall. If the MP3 player is to blame, then it can only be considered a negative…

    Pros
    • Superb construction, as expected from Tecsun. Two-channel audio. Very sensitive. An MP3 player.
    Cons
    • Poor stereo channel separation and a lack of selectivity make this Tecsun receiver a bad choice. If you need to use three antiquated AA batteries, you can only do so in the receiver because only two will fit into the AC adapter. Tecsun's newest models exclusively use the superior 18650 battery.

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

Disappointed. I looked on the Internet before buying a lot and realized that you can only buy a digital tuner with a setting of up to 0.01 something like that, small tiny receivers. 6000 were allotted for a gift! Why are there no such but with normal speakers, stationary! unclear. In conclusion, I can say that it makes no sense to take such bells and whistles for the elderly. The settings for them are complicated, there are no instructions in 2022. With volume, it's not that much of a problem…

    Pros
    • The ability to fine-tune to 0.01 is very important in the city of Sergach, Hong Kong Region, 150 km from Hong Kong, where this radio receiver catches 2022 radio on waves 672022 -67. 19, and at 672022 or 672022 everything wheezes.
    Cons
    • 1. Not a big rattle is still on 2022 radio. As an antenna, do not twist, or by adding another. The remaining 5 FM radio stations from 90 to 108 catch well. 2. The speakers are quite weak - quiet even for the kitchen. Perhaps the manufacturer assumed that you would listen to him in your hands, because. the dimensions are almost pocket size, or in headphones. 3. It is impossible to catch more radio stations for him than is broadcast in your area. The radio station of Radio 2022, in principle, for the sake of it, I bought it, I managed to set it up, but it wheezes a little. Bought elderly uncle, because those two receivers that are, both wheeze, we thought if we take it with tuning to hundredths, then we get a clear sound, but not fate. On the machine it catches up to 0.1, that is, everything that is on hundredths - 02022 will not catch!, You need to do it manually.

    A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I rode a bike along Kuleshovka - I tuned in to the International Radio of China 13.665 kHz, so I listened to political news without a single fading. In the evenings, Vesti-FM broadcasts from Odessa on 1413 kHz - also without a single fade (because of the Black Sea). We really miss Wargaming FM, which is not on the air Got pros: Catches FM stations at distances up to 100 km from the repeater, shortwave AM - without fading on a standard antenna ("rope" antenna is not needed) outside buildings…

A reliable product for all occasions, the quality is at the level.

Different pros: Good signal reception in the city. Outside the city limits, it has not yet been tested. Ability to charge rechargeable batteries without removing them from the receiver. There is a display backlight and a thermometer. Some cons: There is no charger included (which is also used as a power source), so by default it cannot be started without batteries. But there are useless headphones))) MP3 only via mini SD with an adapter. It would be more convenient than a regular USB.

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

At first there were two of them (I bought one for my wife, the other for my mother). One of them every month, or even more often, hung up, ceasing to respond to any buttons. The only way to revive it is to remove the power supplies, wait until the LCD display is clear of inscriptions (in about an hour - you can see a capacitive capacitor inside), and only then insert it back. After 3 years of operation, he finally died. The second one of the same kind did not hang up so often (about once a…

    Pros
    • 1. There is VHF. 2. Digital tuning, memorize settings, easy to switch between channels with the wheel. 3. Confident reception, including outside the city. Cheaper receivers are only for strong radio stations (for example, those that are cheaper than 4 thousand, the Ekho Moskvy and Grad Petrov radios reproduce with strong noise even within the boundaries of St. Petersburg, but this one is clean!). 4. Acceptable sound quality. 5. Lightweight, compact.
    Cons
    • 1. Sometimes freezes. 2. Too many functions, too complex and non-obvious control, an abundance of buttons on both sides creates a risk of accidentally pressing the wrong one. For example, you can accidentally activate the sleep timer, but to turn it off, you need to study the instructions - the necessary sequence of actions is not obvious. 3. One of the three purchased copies was short-lived. 4. Quite expensive (but the reception quality is worth it).

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I bought a receiver on Aliexpress, received it in two weeks, the package included headphones, an AUX wire, a case and instructions in English. Works great on VHF! AM is fine too. Buy do not wish!

    Pros
    • FM reception, backlighting of buttons and display, there is a player, line input
    Cons

Now about the 398th, more precisely, about the sound (more than enough has been written about other parameters). The sound from the built-in speakers really doesn't match the level of other receiver features. But, as audiophiles say, you can't fool physics. However, my experience tells me that it is not necessary to deceive anyone. I offer 3 options for solving the…

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Great receiver. I take it mainly when I go out of town to nature, as well as in case of a cataclysm. There is a desire to somehow check the reception on an external antenna, but even with a regular one in SW mode, I found many stations indoors during the day, it catches more than 100 at night, and this is in St. Petersburg! There are also no problems with a flash drive, although I did not insert more than 8 gigs. Charges batteries great. For charging, I use USB charging from the phone, only I…

    • Excellent FM reception, satisfactory SW reception by the standard antenna. Batteries last a long time (I use rechargeable ones).
    Cons

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I don't understand the technology of "Tecsun" reception, but this is an amazingly sensitive receiver! I live in St. Petersburg and prefer the Hermitage and Radio Rocks radio stations. I tested it for a week on the Sandy Island (Vuoksa River) The receiver confidently captures the FM wave with stereo sound and this is 100 km from the radio tower! The built-in thermometer and alarm clock were very useful during the campaign.

    Pros
    • VERY SENSITIVE! Compact, lightweight, versatile (alarm clock, thermometer, MP3)
    Cons
    • As a fisherman, I would like this miracle in an aluminum or titanium case! =)

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

With the function of receiving FM copes perfectly well. The sound from the receiver is average in quality, a small chat machine for giving nothing more. If it were not for the clumsy implementation of mp3, it would have come up. It is a pity, because of the small jambs, the model is not completed. In fact, you buy only the receiver. Pros below: Perfectly catches FM, there is a left FM (our VHF). There is an alarm clock, backlight, thermometer. Batteries last a long time. Some cons: The alarm…

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I am quite satisfied with the purchase. The device, despite the purely Chinese brand (although it seems to produce products of the legendary Grundig under its own name), is very good, in a country house 120 kilometers from the city, it catches radio frequencies flawlessly, and what else do you want from a radio? With its pros. Compact, lightweight, excellent build quality, nothing hangs on the snot. All buttons and display are backlit. Reads mp-3 from sd-cards. accumulators. Different cons: The

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I have several receivers of the Tecsun brand, I can say the following about this receiver. He had a predecessor Tecsun PL-390, in terms of comparison with this receiver, the 398th has a lot of minuses 1) At 390 the sound was much better, the stereo is amazing. On the 398th stereo is bad. In defense, I can say this is the only receiver with stereo sound on the speakers 2) Larger dimensions, it is thicker and larger. If it's because of the MP3 player, then it's only for the worse. 3) 390 and 398…

    Pros
    • Excellent build and Tecsun quality. Stereo sound. High sensitivity. MP3 player.
    Cons
    • Large dimensions, less selectivity compared to other Tecsun receivers, poor separation of stereo channels. Outdated AA batteries 3 pieces, you have to charge only in the receiver, since 3 cannot be stuffed into the universal adapter at once. Newer versions of Tecsun switched to 18650 battery which is perfect for it.
