An excellent meter for its time and today

The analogue meter brings back pleasant memories, it was my first device 50 years ago. dmm gives you an idea of how the analog readings will show you exactly what readings are being displayed when setting up your meter for everything you've ever tested. tnx amazon is a very satisfied customer.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Volume

Best readings with analog

The multimeter itself is a good buy, accurate and even better than digital (according to my husband). The complaint he has is related to instructions. Apparently they are wrong. The directions are also hard to read. I tried to contact Revane but that was during the holidays.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Update available

I bought this gauge as a spare for my Simpson 260. It's a very good quality meter with good accuracy and a solid, compact design. Great for the price and quite competitive with much more expensive devices. I'm an engineer so my expectations are higher than the average user.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Worthy imported analogue of PTO

Bought ONLY to see voltage fluctuations. Have a Fluke 117, digital gauges are not good for this. And my Simpson 260 died, so it was a logical low-cost solution. I mainly use my gauges to repair portable generators. If accuracy is important to you, don't buy a $25 gauge, buy a Fluke or Milwaukee, etc. Otherwise, it's great.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons
  • Everything is fine

good product but buy extra 1 amp fuses

Good product, works well, tracks digital meter readings well. Remember that the meter contains two fuses, 1 and 10 amps. It's easy to accidentally blow a 1 amp fuse if you're not careful, which isn't really a problem and easy to replace, but can be a problem if you need a fuse and don't have one. Recommend 1 and 10 amp fuses just in case.

Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Seems to work great, I sent the first one back for quality control

This is my second. The first one broke right out of the box. The arrow did not reset to zero on the left side immediately after unboxing. A variable knob for an ohmmeter that you could barely turn seems to be stuck. Got my second today and it works great. I would highly recommend it but please check all the features including the potentiometer with no resistor.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • So so

I think it's better if I return it and consider buying a digital meter.

I understand this is a cheap counter but it doesn't work as expected. Not all graduations on the meter match the graduations you can choose from. This. I want to check the DC voltage on a 12V car battery and the instructions say to select the 25 setting, but read the results on the multimeter on a scale of 50 (because there is NO scale of 25). So my 12v battery is showing 24v. If that's normal, why aren't the instructions warning me that I'm getting double readings? There is also a 500 setting,

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Empty

A good analog multimeter for the price.

Overall, the device is well made and well protected. From past experience I've learned to remove the batteries between uses as I don't use them often. Failure to take this precaution could corrode the batteries and damage the meter. Unfortunately, this meter requires the protective rubber cover to be removed to access the screws for installing or removing the batteries, so using the meter takes a few extra minutes. This meter also has two sets of batteries, 9V and some AA batteries. Overall I…
