Review on Tekpower TP7050: High Accuracy 7-Function Analog Multimeter with Battery Tester - 20-Range Power Diagnostics by Darryl Duncan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good analog multimeter for the price.

Overall, the device is well made and well protected. From past experience I've learned to remove the batteries between uses as I don't use them often. Failure to take this precaution could corrode the batteries and damage the meter. Unfortunately, this meter requires the protective rubber cover to be removed to access the screws for installing or removing the batteries, so using the meter takes a few extra minutes. This meter also has two sets of batteries, 9V and some AA batteries. Overall I like the meter and if I used it every day I wouldn't even mention the extra time it takes to remove or install the batteries. What I really like is the dry cell test portion of the instrument. I find this convenient, apart from having to put batteries in to run the test. If the back cover would snap in and out I would give this gauge 5 stars.
