Taming 3 Laptops in Computers & Accessories

Most laptops come with very low thermal pads, typically well under 7 W/mK. They'll get the job done, but a cooler is always better, especially for durability. I recently received three laptops so I replaced the stock spacers along with an extension of another spacer that was clearly too short. The difference in heat transfer was immediately noticeable. Simple and works well, perfect for SSD in laptops.

I chose this to apply to SSD in 2 different laptops. This spacer is the right thickness and adhesive to attach directly to NVMe/M.2 SSDs in most laptops, which is what I've used it for. As a result, the SSD temperatures in both notebooks dropped by around 10 degrees under load and a little more when idling. Excellent cooling performance and ease of use

This is the ideal thermal pad to replace traditional thermal pads that all too often come with graphics cards or M.2 drive cases. Its thermal conductivity of 12.8 W/mK makes it one of the best thermal pads on the market and even rivals high-quality thermal compounds.
