This product has mixed reviews. I was as optimistic as possible. But after receiving the goods I can say that this is money wasted. I would throw it away, but that would probably give an indication that the trash can will catch fire or freeze. It's at least 7-10 degrees in each direction. Do yourself a favor and order something else!

This unit doesn't take very good hand calibration and reads two degrees less than my other more accurate thermometers. So instead of throwing them away, I just remind myself to add two degrees to what's shown. However, the humidity readings are fairly accurate and therefore more reliable than a temperature scale.

It's pretty cheaply made, but for under $5 it's what you'd expect. The accuracy was right. It was within 5 degrees of actual. I wouldn't say you can calibrate/adjust this like the listing says when I bought it. The adjustment mechanism is simply to bend or relax the existing coil with a screwdriver by turning the dial hand around zero a few times and see where it returns. Like hit or miss.

. A larger radius dial would be comfortable for older eyes like mine. I have a red alcohol thermometer that I dropped and broke, so this thermometer will help me check when I put it back together. I also accidentally dropped this sensor and it's still fine.

Very cheap. Not exactly. I liked the idea without batteries. I bought 2 of these, put them side by side, calibrated to the temperature, and when it warmed up or cooled down they didn't match the temperature anymore.
