Description of Top-rated Thorogood 814 4200 American Heritage Tobacco Men's Shoes for Work & Safety

100% Leather. Made in the USA. MAXWEAR WEDGE SLIP-RESISTANT OUTSOLE flexes better than other work boot outsoles, absorbing impacts and protecting your feet and ankles while working on difficult surfaces. They keep you on your feet on flat, wet, and oily surfaces, and loose gravel. It also lasts longer than blown rubber outsoles. Meets ASTM F3445-21 slip-resistance standards. MAXWEAR WEDGE also meets ASTM F2413-18 or ASTM F2892-18 ELECTRICAL HAZARD safety standards. Poron Comfort Cushion sole. Shaft measures approximately Mid-Calf from arch. REMOVABLE ULTIMATE SHOCK ABSORPTION FOOTBED uses dual-density polyurethane concentrated under heel and ball strike zones to absorb impacts and wick away moisture for the most comfortable out-of-the-box work boot out there. GOODYEAR STORM WELT CONSTRUCTION provides superior wear resistance and moisture seal between upper and midsole making these extremely dependable and long-lasting mens work boots. FIBERGLASS SHANK CONSTRUCTION gives these mens work boots the flex and strength needed to maintain their shape under heavy duress, and 6-inch flexible ankle support keeps you secure up top. THOROGOOD’S “JOB-FITTED” DESIGN means American Heritage moc toe boots are ideal for a range of outdoor and industrial applications - go-to boots if you work in construction or maintenance, if you’re a carpenter, electrician, engineer, farmer, machinist, mechanic, plumber, or anyone else who needs durable and comfortable boots while doing tough dirty jobs. The 6-inch non-safety toe moc toe boots have also become iconic boots off the job.

Super comfortable and stylish

Personally I've never had much interest in white soled work boots. Old hands wore them and swore by them, but I've always preferred the look and durability of black Vibram soles. After looking at a few reviews on YouTube, I decided to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did. They fit a little loose if you buy your standard size - I'm a 9.5 wide and they're a bit big for me. Nothing thicker than normal socks can be repaired. However, their construction is impressive for this price point. They're…

Bad butt works best with industrial and construction boots

I never browse products. not my thing. but these boots are so good I had a feeling someone might find them useful. Bought my pair 3 months ago. Here's my review: I have weird legs. broad front. narrow at the heel. It's a pain in A to find comfortable boots. I typically wear my work boots 10-16 hours a day and beat them out. throw things at them. regularly accidentally step on uneven heels with your foot. Yes, maybe a bit casual, but I buy strong boots for a reason. Basically, they are tortured…

Perfect? Probably no. Still oh so

These are the coolest boots I've ever worn. Every time you put them on you just feel like BAMF. But there are a few quibbles. First, I hate the loop at the top of the boot over the hook. What's the point? I do not use it. The second white outsole, while great, attracts dirt. 3rd, the laces are only .fur. That's about all I can find wrong with this shoe. If you're hesitant to spend over $200 on a pair of sneakers, remember these boots are guaranteed to get you the job you want, the girl (or guy)

  • Style 90

I love these boots and to be honest I have a real brand loyalty. Even bought painkillers for my daughter's boyfriend. However, after 2 months of wearing them in the house and yard, the glued seam of the sole came loose and started to fall off. I am very sad about this because after researching all other options and reading many positive reviews I chose Thorogood, even over Red Wing. I bought them through Revain and because they were made in America only to have the return window close after a…

The best boots I've ever had! A+

So like everyone who has reviewed these boots, take a half size smaller than usual. They have an oversized cut and are half a size smaller. These boots have very comfortable insoles and together with the maximum wear wedge sole these boots offer total comfort! I recommend anyone who buys them to wear long socks. I wore short socks and my feet blistered from skin rubbing against my skin as I walked. These boots are six inches tall, so any socks above that height will be perfect. This is my first

Best boots I have ever owned

I have never owned a pair of Thorogood boots until recently. They are beautifully designed right out of the box. Made with high quality leather and stitching. The only thing I changed was the laces because I like the look of the leather and wrapped them twice around the back. For the first week I thought I made a mistake because I ordered a regular (D) size and thought I might have to order a large size. My pinky toes were killing me for about 7 days but just as I was about to complain they…

These boots look and feel like a good quality pair of boots

These boots look and feel like a good quality pair of boots. As a commercial electrician I spend a lot of time on my feet and these boots feel good all day. I use a 3/4 length extra insole for plantar fasciitis in them. The fit is amazing! I've had them for almost two months now and one of the boots had a cracked sole in three places. So far it hasn't affected comfort, but I think it's a little premature for $150 boots. Update: After writing this review I decided to email Revain about the…

Love these boots most in industrial and construction boots

Love these boots! Short and simple. I wear a pair to work every day (steel toe version) and they are very comfortable. My legs never hurt. Some of the older guys I work with tell me I'm not tall enough to hurt my legs anyway. At 24, I'm 6ft 2" and about 180 pounds, but I do have a part to play in the excellent design and construction of this shoe. I bought a second pair of non-steel socks to wear. I don't mind a break. I usually wear 11.5 shoes/boots and bought 11.5 in these. After feeling a…
