I love these boots and to be honest I have a real brand loyalty. Even bought painkillers for my daughter's boyfriend. However, after 2 months of wearing them in the house and yard, the glued seam of the sole came loose and started to fall off. I am very sad about this because after researching all other options and reading many positive reviews I chose Thorogood, even over Red Wing. I bought them through Revain and because they were made in America only to have the return window close after a month. I take care of my stuff and discovered this when I put Obenaufs conditioner, also from Revain, on my skin (love this stuff). Now I have to glue my 1.5 month old $180 boots with Revain glue to keep them from completely delaminating.
