TIPPMANN TiPX Remote Adapter Kit Review

Tipx is pretty much useless without it. Do not overtighten or strip the threads in your gun! If you do this, use a ton of teflon tape.

I installed both and really liked them. I usually use CO2 but would like to be able to connect to a remote rig for longer games. It meets all requirements.

Very easy to install. Watch the YouTube video and just pay close attention to the disassembly as it is pressurized. I left the keg in and it helped. I lubricated mine prior to installation. Has worked flawlessly. Took me about 5 minutes to disassemble, assemble and remove! Hope that helps!

I was easy to install (just make sure you have new o-rings and not black ones) and works great. Update: 5/3/2017 Still worth it after using TPiX with it. that would cost twice as much. but at that point, combined with the cost of the pistol, it would have been difficult for me to buy another pistol. I just don't need it much. (Wish I had more stores and a better way to store them)

Great product, you have to drill plastic on the back of the gun but it's easy and simple. The only catch is that on an older gun the gold air adapter you see in the photo may not be able to be added as on older TiPX models the air adapter is built into the firing pin and cannot be removed. In this situation you simply remove the "gold" air adapter and screw the rod into the stock screw and it works fine.

When I purchased this item I expected to have everything I needed for installation upon arrival. Installation was easy for my TipX, but my TPX didn't come with all the parts it said it came with. So I had to call Tippmann who told me they no longer sell this part even though it says it is in the instructions. They told me they sent me the part I needed but we'll see.
