must have for bosch cis k-jetronic petrol injection do-it-yourself tuning

pressure gauge works well, has all connections as advertised. successfully tested and diagnosed a 1985 Mercedes Benz 500sec for hundreds less than the store. Also got a used manual that came with my injection for reference. would recommend to a friend. not the highest quality but worth the money and a great addition to any toolbox.

Key fitting missing

This set is pretty good I think, but it's annoying that it doesn't have a female banjo bolt fitting. On my 84.5 Volvo 242 Turbo it's really easy if you have this fitting but if not you have to get under the intake manifold which is a PITA. For a hundred bucks this thing should come with every accessory you could possibly need. I'll post back how it actually works, but I spent my day yesterday running all over town looking for a fitting that can't seem to be found before getting hold of an M8 x…

Pros
  • Lots of good tuning

  • Not as thick as other picks

as on the back of the warm up regulator

I have a lotus esprit and with this kit I can't check the pressure in the system between the fuel pump and the fuel rail, I have a big banjo bolt on the rear preheat regulator for example which feeds the FD and while I can connect it to the FD I don't have the option of having a two way female connector to connect to the fuel supply from the pumps at the same time. Time. You can still use it to check the warm-up regulator, but you can't fully check the fuel pressure as described in the service…

Leaked on second use

I saw this tool on a YouTube video and was able to track down the manufacturer and order it. Unfortunately, although the kit is extensive, details are missing on how and where exactly the lines have to be connected - more details and a few pictures would be helpful. The biggest disappointment came when I first used it when I checked the fuel pressure. and it showed pressure. After pressing the safety button, it started leaking a little but stopped. However, on the same test, the small safety…

Be very careful with this

I bought this set for my workshop when we started servicing old Mercedes. We used it 10 times before the sensor fell apart (but was still usable) but there is a BIG problem we ran into. The threaded portion of the adapters cuts into the fuel rail. When it first happened I attributed it to gross engineering, but then it happened again. The second time we had to remove the distributor from the machine which resulted in 3 hours of extra work for which we were not paid. Then yesterday I personally…
