Awesome bike seat

My son loves this seat. It was easy to install and easy to adjust as you grow. The seat can be removed if you want to fit a Topeak rear basket on the bike if you have an errand to run or if I want to change the seat on my wife's bike.

Pros
  • Confident

Sport child bike seat

Everything was fine with this child bike seat. The initial setup of the rack was clearly explained. It is firmly attached to my bike. The seat itself can be easily installed on the stand or removed. On the bike it is very durable. The seat itself protects the child thanks to the high backrest and numerous straps that keep the child in place and provide comfort. It's also well padded and reclines. I highly recommend this product.

  • This is amazing

  • You could choose a newer model

If you like to ride with a child.

This seat fits most bikes and is fairly easy to assemble. It took me about 20 minutes, but I ran into a big problem. If you have a 29" tire, you will need to buy another rack to mount it. It's on amazon and works great. When I bought the chair I thought it would fit. The description is not specific but if you go to the site you will find information. I would like to buy it again. Remember that for a 29er you will need a different rack that fits the bike.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

great bike item

we bought for our 13 month old daughter. this is our first experience with a child bike seat and we are very satisfied. I can't compare it to other seats but it seems to be of good quality and our kid loves to ride with us. Installation took about 30 minutes and should be easy enough for anyone with common sense. We have a "Disc Mount Version" or "DMV" rear brace that holds the seat. However, the DMV version is also suitable for normal non-DMV motorcycles. It comes with all mounting hardware…

Very satisfied - Sport

Even if my bike doesn't have brake discs, I bought this model to secure my investment in the future. Took me about 2 hours to install the seat, bike stand and rearview mirror (which I bought separately). The included instructions are pretty good and all the parts included fit together really well. So far I've used this seat a few times with very good experiences for driver and passenger :-). It is easy to put the child in and take it out. The straps keep it in the chair very well. We didn't use

Better than iBert Remember to recall the modified hinge cover.

It holds baby securely, has springs to absorb shock and is very easy to put on and take off when securely latched. My wife and I bought two racks and a seat and it takes sixty seconds to move it from one bike to another. This seat is being recalled because of claims that children's hands could get caught by the sling, but (a) it's hard to imagine that's going to happen when you know it's a problem; and (b) email Topeak and they will send you an upgrade kit to cover this. We also tried the…

Great bike seat/rack requires patience

This is a great seat, my son rides in it and enjoys the ride. He is 18 months old and weighs about 27 pounds and the only problem is when I rotate backwards while pedaling my foot hits his foot. I've adjusted this by putting my feet on the pedals closer to the center of the foot, this takes a while to get used to, but it's a small compromise and also a big improvement since it's from the In Step Moved to the back seat was the puller he's been using since last year. I read all the reviews before

Topeak Child Bike Seat

I got it about a week ago and last night I finally worked up the courage to install it (it was quite intimidating for someone who doesn't know much about tools)! I don't have disc brakes but the disc mount version will work with any type and the price is the same. After two hours and a trip to the hardware store, I think the seat is as secure as it gets (it feels rock solid, very secure and very secure). One thing that bothered me was that the box didn't come with the required Allen key…
