Job done. I've been trying to fit a valve instead of a cap to drain my sprinkler system. This allows me to run the pipe to the sewer so I don't have to deal with water splashing all over the place. It was exactly the part I needed.

Thread is accurate but center hole is very small. I'm not sure why the hall was made so small as the outside diameter was four times larger. I ended up drilling the hole to a larger size. I used it to convert a Blackstone grill into a hose for my RV. My photo shows a fitting with a larger hole I drilled.

I used this along with an Anderson Metals brass pipe fitting, coupler, 3/8" flare and 1/8" hose to connect the regulator to to upgrade my 22 inch Blackstone pan. Worked well, and an adjustable dial now helps the pan keep up when cooking larger dishes. I used teflon tape and checked for leaks. This worked for me, but proceed at your own risk.
