I switched to a different cartridge after my third ride on them. They slip and leak fairly easily, but that could be due to my short metal valve stems. .

I ordered this item to make it easier to inflate my jeep tires when I inflate them back for road use. The product works as advertised, seems of good quality to be and i am happy with it working and from what i see i would recommend to anyone who wants to get rid of the chore of keeping the air liner on the tire stem while inflating tires.

If you just connect it the way it should work it will leak. You have to push it in and then twist to screw it in tight to get a seal (even at 20psi). After that, you can't loosen it until you unscrew it a bit. AND DO NOT USE ON ALUMINUM TPS VALVES. Yep - destroyed one of mine trying to use this and had to thoroughly clean the threads.

I got this cartridge because I got tired of holding the cartridge on the valve stem when inflating completely flat tires. Filling up tires is fine, but leaving a cartridge on a tire for 10 minutes is a headache. This cartridge seals perfectly and stays on the valve stem as intended. I am very happy with this cartridge.

This works well with longer tire nipples and I'm happy with that. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the valve stem notch is quite deep and I couldn't use it for exactly what I bought it for: connecting my compressor to a portable air tank to power it to fill up. . It takes a long time to fill the tank completely because the flow rate drops exponentially as the pressure in the portable tank approaches the pressure in the compressor tank.
