It advertises itself as a 3/8 inch for .

It is advertised as a 3/8" for a .33" OD screw (which I blame the conversion to and from metric). The part to be replaced has an outside diameter of 3/8 inch. The bolt size is 13/32" according to my caliper. He doesn't fit.

Everything is quiet in the back

I have an old Quincy supercharger that I bought 35 years ago. When I got it it was so old that my wife named it Noah because she said it must have belonged to the original shipbuilder. It had an air filter with a washable cotton core that finally wore out after half a century of use. I don't think this one will last that long. It's more of a disposable type of paper that needs to be replaced from time to time when the element gets dirty, but it's quiet and a good deal for the price.

Wow I am beyond impressed with this guy. I didn't know what to expect. I got my Cambell Hausfield pancake compress (old yellow model) from a wall texturizer who ridden it hard and wet cleaned it - but that's what I could afford at the time. There was always a defective filter on it. It's louder than a 747 turbofan at takeoff. After all these years it still works great. So I will not spend money to buy a new model.
