In-ear headphones fall apart

The headphones themselves sound quite decent. I was very happy with them. However, I did regret getting the in-ear headphones as I use them for hours of study and as advertised they sit very ON the ear. That means the outer part of your ear is between the pillow and the skull. After a while you will feel a tingling sensation. Second, you'll notice from the photo that the earpiece itself has detached from the headband. This has already happened twice. The first time was under warranty and…

Amazing little jars that CAN!

I have to say I'm no expert or avid audiophile but I know good things when I see or in this case hear! I already have a few headphones so I know what to look for like the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Series 2 which were my favorites before I got this V-Moda XP. Karmon Harmon BT Wireless, Beats Mixrs (David Guetta Version), Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Wireless Headphones. With the V-Moda XP, the sound stage is not cramped despite the small footprint. I hear things I can't hear with other headphones. All the…

Reliable couple and reliable company

This is not an audiophile grade of divine sound. This is a durable and dependable pair of earbuds designed to drop your bag knowing they're there for you. The sound is good at low frequencies and the mids are well defined. As with the M80, its weakness lies in the high frequencies. Although they are still nice and warm and way better than the M80 in EVERY way. My favorite feature is the splitter or secondary audio input to or from the second aux jack on the headphones themselves. I have a…

If I had to choose just one pair of headphones, this would be it.

If I had to choose one set of headphones to listen to for the rest of my life, these are the ones I would choose. First, like all modern V-Moda headphones, the XS are built like a tank. They are made of metal rather than plastic and are great for on-the-go use. I can't speak to her true durability because I love her looks so I'm trying to be gentle. I don't want to ruin the beautiful leather on the headband. Plus, given their size, they fold into a surprisingly small package. You can then put…

One of the best sounds I have ever heard

I could be called a music lover but I'm not a big fan of flat sound either, I like a strong live base. These sound better than other headphones I've had and there have been many. I had Sennheiser Momentum, The Bose Quiet Comfort. Two Blue Lola and MoFi and most recently the Sony WH-1000m2 which were my favorites until I got them. Right out of the box I liked them, which is unusual as I'm usually a fan of headphones, until they warm up a bit (around 50 hours is a good time break). These are the…

Recommended Buy

I bought the VMODA-XS (Matte Black) for myself as a birthday present and was a bit reluctant to buy them because of their size and they were also a bit pricey at $170. + Retail for compact design (I bought them at a sale price of $148), I really wasn't expecting much from these headphones but I would give them a try, I think I was also intrigued by the materials used in the design (Kevlar reinforces SpeakEasy mic control cable) and they claimed to have an "almost indestructible headband". I…
