I bought two pumps, this one and another brand. Another brand's clear tube became cloudy after the first use, but this one isn't. Great check valve, great little tool. I wish they had included a third clip in the bleed screw kit, but that is very minor.

I've never used any of these. I tried blowing it out like you did and thought it broke so I ordered another one. You are both fine. The one-way valve requires hydraulic pressure. Works perfectly when pumping through brake fluid. Great little Amajiggy

I used the brake bleeder to bleed the brakes on my jeep. It was easy to use and allowed me to get the job done without having a second person bleed the brakes. I could just cut a hole in the top of a water bottle and insert a hose into the bottle to catch the liquid. The reason for the 4 stars was that the hose bled off twice but other than that it did what it was supposed to do.

It worked on my Toyota Highlander with no problems. I had another person apply the brake a few times to test how it worked and it worked flawlessly - the fluid ran out and none came back when the brake pedal was released. The air came out but didn't go back. After that I made all 4 brakes myself. The pipe on the "exhaust side" should be 6 to 12 inches longer, as it's a good idea to pull the pipe up before it falls, just in case, to allow air to rise to the top of the pipe.

This is really meant for a motorcycle or something small. I used it for a one man brake fluid change - old paste half filled with old fluid and the end of the hose through the cap and into the fluid to keep the air out. I used it on my Silverado and it took forever to leak fluid. I find the one-way valve somewhat limits the amount it can move. I ended up removing the valve and just connecting the hose directly and it moved the liquid much, much faster. It would also be a lifesaver for those who
