It is ok in power tool parts and accessories at best.

Not comparable to Flexzilla for flexibility in cold weather. The hose is hard as a board and the o-rings in the swivel started to snap at 18*f. Must be replaced before full winter. I can only imagine this tubing at -20*f. If you don't use this whip for cold weather work, it can last a long time.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A few little things

Well done but a few surprises

The hose was surprisingly stiff. When I bought it I was looking for something half the size. Fortunately this is not the case. Also, the connector on the non-gimbal end doesn't rotate on the hose. This means you have to twist the entire hose to tighten or remove it. Looks sturdy and the end of the gimbal is very flexible and won't leak.

Flexible Connection - Pneumatic Tool Parts & Accessories

The flexibility of this hose once installed on my grinder extends its life, the swivel connector provides good maneuverability, unlike a traditional hose connector with its reach quick connection. Also, once the hose is connected, the grinder becomes almost 5 inches shorter by removing the rigid connector from the machine and moving it more than 20 inches along the hose. The surface of the hose is pleasant to the touch because it is abrasion-resistant but very flexible.

Clamp broken at 190 PSI on first use

hose broken off on first use due to breakage. The PSI was only up to 190 when it exploded, reportedly up to 350psi. I cut off the bad end and used a hose clamp and held it at 210psi for about 1 hour. To update. After a few hours, the hose broke again, even with a well-tightened clamp. My guess is that the rubber is too soft so it breaks and bends too easily so it can't hold it. I throw this one away and get something else.

The product is damaged by the packaging and is not safe to use.

Product appears to perform as intended, but poor packaging renders it unusable. The hose is severely kinked until the hose material is damaged. This is caused by the way the tubing is twisted in the packaging. I returned the first item and explained that I would accept a replacement if they could guarantee the replacement was not twisted - the replacement was just as bad as the first. We recommend not ordering until the packaging issue is resolved. This problem has been described by other…

Good value for money but don't overtighten the female fit!

I bought this to easily connect a hose reel to an air vent on my garage wall. It looked like a decent quality piece but to my surprise and disappointment the female fitting broke when attaching to the brass adapter. Maybe I put on too much muscle - I'm not sure. Nonetheless, Revain replaced the broken hose with another and after a 'smoother' installation I was pleased with the results. The swivel does not leak and the hose is very flexible. Overall I felt the price was good enough so I bought a

Looks good, especially with the bright yellow rubber hose. The way it's packaged is fine for some, but the black hard plastic end kinks the tube (as shown in the photos). Once kinked, it is difficult to remove and each time the hose is flexed, it will kink in that section of hose. Hopefully this kink will go away on its own over time if you let that kink area straighten and relax. Otherwise this hose is pretty good with 1/4" NPT and MNPT ends. The ball head seems to rotate pretty easily. I hope
