Does what it should.

This is pretty much what I was looking for in the 18ft MT07. I took standard mirrors and they almost perfectly filled in the remaining holes. I say almost perfect and give 4 stars instead of 5 because the circumference of the screw head could be a bit larger. But for the price I find it sufficient.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some nuances

Ideally though. Best in parts

Used to cover the stock mirror mounts on my Z900 after I rebuild the end mirrors. Overall, the fit and finish are excellent. However, it is very, very soft aluminum. If you don't have a penny-sized screwdriver, don't use it. I used the largest I had and the tips still pushed the material out a bit. The anodization cracked in a nick and showed a silver color. I had to use a nickel. But they are great for covering regular mirror mounts.

Clean looks are everything

I have an Indian Scout Schwimmer and it fits my bike perfectly. On my bike you can mount the mirrors in two different places: at the bottom of the handlebars or at the top, as is usual with bicycles. Since my mirrors are on the handlebars I have these two holes that look unfinished giving my bike an unfinished look. After putting in those two screws to cover those holes, my bike started looking better. It's the subtle details that give your bike a clean look. I hope this is helpful. Many Thanks

They look great: side mirrors

They're a little more expensive than they are, but they look really good on the bike. It's a small detail, but it looks a lot better than leaving the holes open or putting a rubber stopper (this also prevents water from entering the holes and rusting them). I bought them naked for a 2005 Suzuki sv650. Also, I didn't know they give you left and right bolts in case your bike uses two different threads (I think Yamaha does) so that's a plus. Also an added bonus to make me chuckle because theโ€ฆ

Exactly what I needed. Save yourself the hassle and just buy.

Does exactly what you want. I looked at a few hardware stores in my area and save myself the trouble - they don't have this thread length in any version. I would take some regular zinc or something and just spray paint it black but nobody has the right product. If you need a reverse thread, your task is even more terrible. Just save gas and time and spend a few extra bucks here. They look great and fit perfectly. Also, two threads of each thread are included so you have a spare for your nextโ€ฆ

Nice little mod for those obsessed with details.

They work exactly as intended. I have a Yamaha FZ 07 and have recently started using some more aggressive mods (tow bars, rear seats etc.). OEM mirrors are great when fitted to OEM handlebars, but if your handlebars don't rise at all it's awkward getting out of the fairing to check/realign your mirrors. Mirrors on the end of the shaft fix this, but removing the mirror on the shaft looks sloppy to someone with OCD (like me). Little did I know it was actually a set of two locking bolts, rightโ€ฆ

Works as advertised

Straight cosmetic screws. I installed them on my Indian Scout Bobber to replace the plastic caps that the mirrors had on other models. Fits perfectly. The manufacturer gives you right and left hand thread screws with a small piece of cloth (Indian Scout right hand thread). The only limitation I have is soft aluminum. No effort is required to tighten them. When installing the screws, I over-tightened one by hand. Slipping off fabric or soft metal broke off the tip of the screw. Since they areโ€ฆ

I was looking for something similar at the hardware store!

I was looking for something to fill the gaping hole where standard mirrors used to be. I was skeptical at first due to some feedback that both bolts are right-hand, but both left and right hand are needed. The company that supplies them now supplies 4 screws; 2 right and 2 left. There were no issues with paint peeling off the screws. TIP: DO NOT PUT ON, this won't happen. I laughed reading these reviews. Use RED Loctite and secure them if you're afraid of losing them (I am). Very High Quality: Motorcycle & Powersports

It is always a pleasure to buy a product that proves to be of outstanding quality. This is definitely one of those items. This is a very simple element, so the quality criteria are quite simple: - Good machining tolerances: This product has excellent tolerances. The threads do not break and are definitely not tied. They are perfect.- Thick, High Quality Anodizing: This product is anodized to a thick, uniform, dark black color. Poorly anodized products have a thin layer that scratches and is not
