Satisfied with the product: Exercise & Fitness

Very satisfied with this product. I bought it to use with the DDP Yoga app as I was using a chest strap that was awkward to use with certain movements and poses. This HRM, which is a bracelet, gives me more freedom and I can maximize my workout. I had no problem connecting my device to the DDP Yoga app. The heart rate reported by the HRM is very, very similar to what I got from a chest strap, so the accuracy seems very high. The battery life is excellent. The wearing comfort due to the padded…

Virtually useless; The app recommended for it is written in Chinese

XOSS website calls bike products, so I think this HRM is designed for it, but the website doesn't mention this HRM. The recommended app was only in Chinese and had a very low rating, most of the issues related to language and connection issues. I was finally able to find an app that recognizes the XOSS HRM, but it took about a month, more or less. Now my phone "sees" HRM but no longer connects; Look, I'm an IT guy, so I know all about 'turning off and on', so I've disconnected my phone's…

Does not measure heart rate accurately. Garbage!

Bought for use with a Peloton bike but is very slow to respond to increased heart rate. I'm in the 120bpm range but this monitor is still showing the 70s and is gradually catching up. Not exactly at all. Difficult to use due to the reason of purchase. More importantly things happen but their customer service is really terrible. About 7 letters received back and forcibly (it takes a week for them to reply, mind you) The first reply is what order number and place of purchase? Second, describe the

Very disappointed - can't figure out how to connect it.

I have a Xoss G+ bike computer. I also have a spinning with an ifit subscription. I bought this monitor hoping to pair it with the tablet I use for ifit bike videos but I can't figure out how to pair the monitor with my tablet or with my bike computer. I can connect it to my iPhone but I don't want to watch bike videos on my phone because of the small screen. You would think a Xoss heart rate monitor would be easy to pair with a Xoss bike computer, right? I can't find this guide anywhere and I…

Good value for money for exercise and fitness

Bought for the feeling of comfort, not a fake heart rate sensor, and paid too much for it - convenience is a plus. The first device I received was inaccurate and inconsistent. It turned out to be paired with a cadence sensor, in other cases the heart rate suddenly dropped to half of what it should be. I tried turning on the sensor after starting a ride for better pairing, but that didn't always work. I tried different spots on the arm but couldn't find a single spot where the readings were the…

Very disappointed, doesn't always measure heart rate

I used the MIO Fuse for quite a while until one day the heart rate sensor stopped working. As this product is no longer manufactured, it is time for a different model. After some research I chose this product, it was cheaper than other optical HR sensors, and I believed that optical HR sensor technology is well known, XOSS should be able to get it right. Boy was I wrong. Having previously used a heart rate monitor, I knew roughly what my heart rate should be for the cadence and resistance I use

"Cading Lock " issue

Edit after a few runs: This device suffers from intermittent "cadence lock" which means the heart rate readings are locked to your cadence and not heart rate. This has happened to me sporadically on my last two runs now, once on the treadmill and once outside. My running heart rate is usually an average of 130 bpm, but now it shows intermittently 180 bpm, which is not possible (my max heart rate is around 170) and matches my running cadence. This has been an issue with optical HRMs in the past,
