This is a beautiful product. However, there are many colors involved here, so it can be a bit confusing. Also, there isn't enough yarn in the kit, so you end up having to buy more from local stores. This is not a startup project. You want this to be your 3rd or 4th project after doing some stitching and doing some good practice. Start with something simple if this is your first time.

Reviews say the instructions were difficult to follow and I agree. I have been doing cross stitches for many years and this experience helped me to understand what the instructions were trying to tell me. The colors of the threads are amazing and when you're done the picture will be beautiful. I would give 5 stars if the instructions were clearer. I only recommend this for experienced embroiderers.

I am very happy with this item! I almost didn't buy this set based on some bad reviews but I'm so happy I did. (And I'll show some photos to show the quality and contradict what the 1 star reviewers say. Relax and don't just watch TV. At first I wanted a printed cross stitch so I could get used to cross stitching, and also because i didn't need to count properly to start i have four courses this summer and didn't want to work more than i have to so i figured the stamped version would do for now
