Gods Unchained: New generation of Trading Card Game

Gods Unchained is a decentralized digital trading card game that shares very similar concepts with popular games like Hearthstone and Magic The Gathering. Unlike these collectible card games, Gods Unchained uses blockchain technology, so players can now own their cards and trade them with other players outside of the game. Despite being a relatively new game in TCG and the blockchain play space, graphics, and gameplay of Gods Unchained are just as good, if not better, than similar established TCG games.

In Gods Unchained, players actually own the cards. The cards are unique on the blockchain, which makes them precious and exchangeable. Players can sell their trading cards for Ethereum, and Ethereum has real dollar value. These features make the game similar to physical trading card games like Magic, where collectors sometimes keep rare cards as investments or sell them for cash. But unlike physical collectibles, blockchain cards are impossible to fake and reproduce.

Gods Unchained is a great start as you will be able to enjoy and experience a great classic TCG with all the benefits of having the card on the blockchain. Like many other popular trading card games, before you start a game, you need to select a god and a deck of 30 cards. Each god has a different deck of cards and all decks have access to a common pool of neutral cards. You can have up to two copies of the same card in your deck and one copy for legendary cards. The game takes place in a turn-based duel between two opponents, where players have a limited amount of mana crystals to perform spells or summon creatures and relics to attack their opponent and reduce their health to zero.

Pros
  • 100% ownership of the card. You can exchange or offer your cards
  • Beautiful art and design
  • Fun and engaging
  • Play for free
Cons
  • No campaign or story mode
  • Occasional bugs (which are acceptable for the beta phase)
