In my opinion, considering that this network was introduced to improve ethereum and provide a better version, it would have been much better to use the PoS algorithm instead of the PoW algorithm, because PoW causes a lot of problems in principle, and I'm sure if ETC uses PoS Used, now its price was several times the current price.
