I wish I could take before and after photos. Imagine 2 glass canopies of an aquarium covered in average patches of hard water and other debris. I had to wash them first and then soak them with a spray. Waited 20 minutes, deleted. I did this procedure 3 times. The recommended 3 minutes waiting time is not enough; Wait at least 10-20 minutes and make sure you have some uses. Worth every penny.

I have a very thick white coating on the outside of the aquarium filter. I ended up pouring this product into a bowl and wetting the filter and it loosened the buildup to the point where it would come off after cleaning with steel wool, but it certainly wasn't a miracle cure. I've also tried it on deposits that have formed from filter spatter on the painted wall behind my tank. I think it helped a bit, but again no big miracles.

Personally I think this is an excellent product. I have a 3 gallon tank of betta fish and I always have seaweed to clean things in the tank. It's safer than bleach or soap, which is important to me, and it works. I take the item out of the tank, spray/soak it for 10 minutes, wipe it down with a paper towel or algae scrubber depending on the item, rinse it, soak it again in purified water and put it back in the tank. Light.

This has to be the most effective hard water cleaner I have ever used in my aquarium! (CLR is NOT suitable for aquarium! 😉) Just spray thick mist, wait a minute for it to work its magic. then wipe it! It is really that easy. Even heavily encrusted deposits from hard water are removed. I have been using this cleaner for many many years and the photo shows how well it works for a 22 year old tank. (And tap water is so hard that when I wash my black car in the sun it dries white!)

Great! I thought the hard water spots splashing my aquarium glass and filters would never go away!
