Excellent electrician's tape for the price

Great quality product for the price. Adhesion is good, tensile strength, elongation and flexibility are fine, and the best part is that it doesn't leave any black glue residue. I haven't had a chance to go back years later, but I'm guessing the glue is clear and not the disgusting black that rips all your fingers off when you're working with, say, an old wiring harness that has come in contact with fuel or fuel fumes. Recommended.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

My personal NSA agents HATE ME for this simple trick.

I used masking tape to dim the camera on my new black laptop and the front camera on my iPad. We also used it to attach the ends of our phone charging cables because they make those cables cheap AF. This band did it! High quality, safe and reliable. The only thing my personal NSA agent told me was that he misses watching me sleep at night through my iPad's camera. He can still hear me through my monitor mic, so that's always the case! In all seriousness - reliable product, fast delivery - what…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Not bad quality, but still not a replacement for 3m tape.

It's ok. Certainly better than super cheap, but not of the same quality as 3m. I wouldn't use it where the wrap is short on the end, but along the middle of the wire harness or something like that would be great. The vinyl itself is pretty durable, the flexibility is okay too. But like many other tapes, it's all about the tape. And here the glue would be 8 out of 10.

Pros
  • Flame retardant and lead-free, resistant to sun, water, oil, acids, alkalis and caustic chemicals; easily stretches and conforms to connections and installations; abrasion and puncture resistant; sticks to copper, aluminium, PVC and plastics
Cons
  • No instructions

Non-Electrical Use Only

I would never use this for actual electrical purposes, nor will I Duct tape would use. Useful for temporarily connecting random items, good for rubbing tape. For example, hang a Christmas garland on a pole and wrap it around to hold it in place. Fiddling around with electrical connections isn't that close. In short order it becomes brittle and simply cannot withstand the operating temperatures. In the past year he has played several roles.

good tape but if you just want the best tape buy 3M.

Colors are important in electrical work. I stock at least 5 white, red, green, yellow and at least 10 black ribbons. I only buy high quality black 3M tape that stretches well and sticks well so it won't fall off and yes it's expensive but that's all I'll be using. Years of working as an electrician have taught me a lot. I rarely use other colors but always have them in my truck when needed. For these colored bands I use Cambridge. I just can't bring myself to buy ribbons at $3.99 a roll for…
