It's simple, elegant and it works!

Designed for my HTC so it fits like a glove and activates car mode by just putting the phone in. It also helps free your hands for driving instead of fiddling with your phone. It comes with a USB cable that detaches from both the base and charging module, but make sure the cable doesn't twitch while it's attached or you risk loosening it and causing it it no longer loads/works with the phone. .

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Has some flaws

Very nice design, goes well with Cradles

I'm so glad my Car Dock is back! Easy to insert, the charger stays in place, great! Only two complaints, firstly the suction cup is just unusable, I couldn't glue it so I glued it with superglue! (Never take it out of the car, so why not). Second, the arm is allowed to be a little longer. I like to use the navigation in a vertical position and there isn't enough space between the dock and the dashboard for that, it's slanted and a bit harder to see. Otherwise so happy!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine

Perfect! in Cradles

I got this for my HTC One and I wish I had it sooner. Holds the phone and starts car mode which can be customized. There's nothing wrong. At first I was afraid of the phone slipping out because it won't snap or something, but I haven't had any problems so far and have been using it for 3 weeks now. The dashboard panel included in the kit will not stick to the dashboard when the outside temperature is above 70 degrees, so it is a windshield. I would recommend this to anyone with this phone if…

A simple, functional piece of technology. Beside the USB connector cap

Perfect for the phone. The suction twist grabs the window with no hint of movement. However, it can be easily removed by unscrewing the tab and pulling. The USB port in the included charger puts the phone into driving mode, which can be customized. (I have some wishes for the drive mode, but not through the fault of the mounts). The bracket is easily adjustable and still stays in place. Does not vibrate or "shake" when driving. The only problem is that the snap connection to the base is flimsy…

Good doc not perfect

This is a great accessory for my HTC One. It looks very crisp and complements my beautiful phone perfectly. It's pretty easy to put the phone in (once you figure out how) and take it out. The charging port on the "bottom" tends to pop out when docked with the phone, so is held tight when you put the phone in. docking station once the phone is plugged in. The actual dock has a tendency to rotate out of its locked position when trying to adjust it, but with a little patience it will get where I…

Expensive car mount but worth the money

This is an OEM car mount for HTC One. It works very well and I don't regret spending a little more on it as opposed to the universal mount. It uses a kind of voodoo to put the phone in auto mode when connected. I used to have a Galaxy Nexus and its car mount did the same so I'm used to the feature and excited to get it back. The Galaxy Nexus mount uses spring pins to tell the phone it's in a car mount. On the other hand, I can't figure out how this mount "tells" the phone that it's in the…

Snug fitting, for better or worse

This car mount has a clean, solid build and a beautiful design. I found it easy to adjust the horizontal or vertical orientation once it was attached to my windshield. The suction cup uses a ring around the base that you twist to create a suction cup when attached to a surface. I have two of these docks, one works great and has never lost suction, the other is not as efficient. Also, the only real criticism I have of this dock is the potential utility. HTC One fits perfectly into the dock by…

Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz Rattle Rattle Rattle

Scanned on receipt, no trace of gold, silver or pressed from Latin gold. Value for money, 1/2 out of 1 star. Built-in, the anchor is strong, the suction is good, effect the car mode. The USB cable lock is flimsy and proprietary and unlike my previous HTC phone dock, it cannot be separately replaced with a longer or shorter cable. 3 stars. Put the phone in the slot, dangling and rattling. 0 stars. Combined rating of value, usefulness and quality: 1 star. (Value and quality prevail) I really…

Overpriced, poor functionality, and serious design issues

Compared to the $20 iBolt dock I bought for the HTC One X, it's a step backwards in every way. The only improvement is that it *looks* good, but it's a functional disaster! HTC has clearly never tested this on various real-world vehicles. I wouldn't buy it again - I'd find something else (but I didn't find any other mounts this time, which is disappointing) or pass up! --------- ---->>> Pros: Horizontal use with one hand - you can easily drop your phone and also don't have to snap the…
