Perfect size but useless

I thought it would clean gravel too but it was too powerful and couldn't control the suction even though I used a clamp. It sucked all my gravel and all. It wasn't helpful at all. I am extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Worked well for a while

I finally find out that more than half the products I buy from Revain are not of high quality. Some are, but no more. This mini aquarium cleaner worked for a while and then the suction bulb came apart at the seams and is now unusable.

Pros
  • Reliable construction
Cons
  • Repair

Okay, I'm up for some: Fish & Aquatic Pets

This is a good design for a small aquarium, but I found it difficult to use due to its lightness. Again and again the end jumped out of the bucket and water got in everywhere. It sucked up debris but didn't seem strong enough to pick them up. Long story short, I'm going back to my old siphon

Good product great customer service

For a nano siphon I think it works incredibly well. Strong suction - enough to suck in small plant leaves but won't tear them off. It's not as powerful as a full-size siphon or a dedicated bastet, but it's totally useful for smaller tanks as it doesn't drain water as quickly. I also had a GREAT experience with the seller when I asked the question. Make sure you assembled the parts in the correct order and start with the clamped flow clamp. I also recommend using a homemade clamp (a spade clamp…

Best Nano Aquarium Siphon

I bought this for my 5 gallon and 6.5 gallon aquariums after being disappointed with another gravel cleaner I bought at my local pet store. I bought the smallest hose and it still took on too much water too quickly and also sucked up all my sand leaving food, poop and trash behind. Serious. It was POS. I'm not exactly a novice either. A few years ago my husband and I had a 90 gallon reef tank and we are now building a 120 gallon reef tank so I know how these things work and how to use them. But

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Definitely Bad Product
