The normal filter is good and appears to be the same as the one that came with our air purifier. The pre-filter is much thinner and more flimsy. It's a much larger sheet that you cut, which is what we expected and it wasn't a problem. The problem was that the material is so thin that it doesn't stay upright when you try to insert it like the real thing. I'm not sure why they don't make it out of a more durable material like the pre-filter that comes with the Honeywell cleaner.

I am disappointed that the pre-filter is much larger than the regular filter. It doesn't fit my air purifier. The R filter is correct. You'd think a set would fit. The filter is NOT PRECUT. Honeywell has decided to send you a huge roll of raw material in this pack so you can MAKE YOUR OWN FILTER. THIS IS *literally* RAW PACKED AS A FINISHED PRODUCT! I'm shocked. This is ridiculously misleading. Nowhere on the packaging does it say you MUST MAKE YOUR OWN FILTERS! So now that I had to cut my own filter from a raw material roll packaged as a finished product, there are black filter shavings everywhere and my main filter (which I swapped out at the same time)

Our Honeywell Purifier lists Type R and Type A replacement filters, but is clearly a custom sized filter. Although these replacement filters are made by Honeywell themselves, the quality appears to be much lower than that supplied with the product. I am very disappointed that the pre-filter looks about 1/4 smaller than what came with the machine. I have included photos so you can see for yourself if the replacement is really flimsy.
