This thing makes it so much easier

I didn't want to waste water so I added a fountain pump. This combination is outstanding. I just did a water change on two 20 gallon and 50 gallon tanks in about 30 minutes. I had a similar setup 40 years ago, don't know why I waited so long.

Easy to assemble, easy to use. Great product

Bought this for a friend who was struggling with water changes. Pretty good packaging arrived to give as a gift. Looks well made. I helped her understand how to use it and showed her not to carry heavy buckets. Easily attaches to a faucet.

This thing works great

I've played around with electronic vacuum pumps for years and wish I'd discovered this tool sooner. The hose uses the Venturi effect to draw suction out of the tube. I use it to clean the bottom of the bait and also to soak up old water for water changes. I wish there was more suction, but I understand it's limited. The siphon pump requires running water to operate.

The Hygger water changer is easy to use and safe for fish!

I like the extra nozzles and ball valves on the gravel cleaner and also on the faucet. The vacuum portion is long for larger tanks and the small nozzle is great for cleaning bare bottom tanks. There is a plastic strainer and ball valve at the top to instantly release vacuum pressure when a fish swims up. The hose is also soft and flexible. All my tanks reached 24 feet.

Don't be cheap and buy a python

Do yourself a favor and buy a python. I first tried the Aqueon water changer/siphon and didn't like it. Then I bought it from Hygger because I have other Hygger products that I like. It's a big improvement over Aqueon, but still not what I expected. It didn't fit any of my faucets except my external faucet, which isn't a deal breaker. You can buy other faucet adapters, but the on/off switch will drain instantly due to the pressure. Then I bought a Python and it's a life changer. It works like a

Reducing the number of steps required. The threaded nozzle that goes into the sink didn't fit well and I had to buy a new one from homedepot. It's just the part that screws right into the faucet and costs me about a dollar. But the one that comes in the box from Revain isn't a standard US size. But if you live in a metropolitan area, finding a right-sized replacement is easy. For the price it is not critical for me. But it would be nice if it worked out of the box. I use this frequently and itโ€ฆ

Aqueon is actually better

I had to replace my aqueon because it was worn out and rough. I'm not happy with that. I already threw away my other one and also the box, otherwise I would have sent it back. I hate how small the tube is and this thing clogs up like crazy. That NEVER happened to my other one. The anti clog powder inside makes it even worse so I took that out. If you have a planted aquarium and need to vacuum a lot of plant debris from the tank, don't even bother. And also the part of the hose that goes intoโ€ฆ

Best Value Best/Easiest Water Changes Ever!

OMG! If you haven't tried any of these or seen them in action, you absolutely have to! It used to take me over 4 hours to do a water change in just one of my two tanks! Draw back all the water and all the water. then I knocked out my back and knee. Of course, the tanks were damaged. abominable. Soooo I paid a lot of money for someone to confess. took him an hour. clean the 60 liter tank of snot! He NEVER touched the bucket except to put a large amount of seaweed in it. Introduce. Excellent value for money and quality!

Even though this review is over a year late, all I can say is that the water change kit does what it says on the tin. I bought the kit with the longest PE pipe to use my garden hose as none of the faucets near my aquarium have a compatible spout, although various adapters are included in the kit. In addition, the longer hose also allowed me to pump water to my garden plants instead of directing it down the drain. The most important feature is the ability to switch from suction to reverse flowโ€ฆ
