Spray on interior, unfinished architectural woodwork or wood surfaces and paper materials. Transparent product packaged in ready-to-use quart container; 32 ounce quart covers 75 square feet. Certified to meet CDPH/EHLB/Standard Method V1.1 (Sect. 01350) for low emissive coatings. Certified to meet ASTM E84, UL 723, NFPA 703 (Class A FS/SD rating). Approved and registered by the California State Fire Marshal as flame retardant product.

Ideal for parchment paper and lamp liners.

I used it to spray paint onto heavy ivory parchment paper which I attached to the inside of the silhouette lamp. Sprayed it on the outside as directed and it didn't stain or stain - completely unnoticed. The paper didn't wrinkle either, and I was able to easily cut it and glue it (with a glue gun) to the inside of my lamp. I haven't tried actually setting it on fire, but feedback from people who have done is that it has been successful in its actual use as a flame retardant, so that's good for…

Highly Recommended - works as promised

Great Product! We used it on the back of the tongue and groove boards that we hung in the pantry. We first tested it by spraying it on a piece of wood and setting it on fire. In the end he burned down, but it took a very long time to light a torch that was brought directly to him. The bottle says it can also be used on fabric, but I've only tried it on wood because it leaves a slight white residue. Rather no flame than no burn

I bought this for a project where I didn't want the paper to burn. I spray-painted half a sheet of construction paper, let it dry, and then lit the unpainted side. When the flame reached halfway through the spray paper, the flame itself stopped, but the paper continued to blacken as if still burning. Although I was impressed by how quickly and consistently it put out the flames, at the end of each experiment, a piece of paper was left that looked completely burned. For a safe product I'm sure…
