Should have. in spark plugs and ignition tools

This magnetic head is a must have, especially if you have a Tacoma. The Tacoma's plugs are in a hole, and while you can use a regular outlet to pull them out, you really need a magnet to put them back in. If you use a regular outlet to plug it back in, you've got a problem. separating the bushing from the spark plug, making this a real challenge. With a magnetic socket, this problem disappears very quickly. Great tool and arrived quickly.

Pros
  • Magnetic heads won't wear out or get damaged by oil
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The perfect tool for the job

Loved trying this tool. I like doing my own work on my car and it was time to change the spark plug so I knew I needed the right tool to keep the spark plug from falling off. I am very happy with this tool. I stuck a spark plug in to test its magnetism and it was very strong, I could feel it positively gripping the spark plug. I rotated the tool and shook it a bit and the connector stayed in the tool with no tug or anything. I have successfully replaced spark plugs with this tool and I would…

Pros
  • Smooth matte finish is easy and clean
Cons
  • Nothing here

WARNING: Not compatible with some spark plugs!

I ordered this as a last resort as I urgently needed a magnetic connector. My old socket is not magnetic. I should have read the negative reviews about it :/. Does NOT match what some call a standard spark plug. I photographed this outlet (left) next to my old outlet (right). Pretty disappointed. The description of this socket should indicate that it is a shorter socket, ie is smaller on the inside. Hoping I could get a refund or refund, the packaging has already been torn off. Edit: Got a…

Pros
  • Knurled position optimized for comfortable finger grip
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Made the job so easy!

I did my first DIY setup this weekend and decided (at the mechanic's recommendation) to use a magnetic bushing instead of a rubber bushing. As a few other reviewers pointed out, the stronger magnet in this socket makes attaching the plugs a bit of a hassle, but once in, those suction cups aren't going anywhere! Having never made plugs I can't comment on the use of this plug versus a rubber bushing, but removing the old plugs was an absolute breeze and I never felt like the plugs would fall out…

Pros
  • Comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty
Cons
  • Something else

Should have bought sooner!

I was impressed with the quality of this head. The solid chrome finish looks durable and sophisticated. The outlet seems huge. The markings are clean and clear. It matches my spark plugs perfectly. This magnetic socket is much better than my old "rubber" candle socket. I was still having issues with the rubber bushing popping out of the key and the plug getting stuck after installing it. Yes, I tried to lubricate the rubber bushing. On my new engine the spark plug tubes are very long and there…

Pros
  • The smooth, matt surface is easy to clean, abrasion-resistant and rust-free.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

I have at least 6 "regular" socketed spark plugs with a rubber seal/ring used inside. Everyone quickly lost a pad and left me frustrated. I once had an epiphany that a magnetic socket would be the way to go. And here they are thing and available on Amazon. I've used this a few times and it's exactly what I was hoping for. The magnet is strong enough to pull a spark plug out of any length of guide tube and strong enough that you don't have to worry about the spark plug falling out. I would…
