This worked well for my rescue pup (who got bigger than the first one I bought). I would not recommend it for a fat or aggressively assertive dog/puppy. I don't think the wires could take it. I like two doors so I can easily access it no matter where I need to put the drawer. If your dog opens door locks, I would try putting D-rings on them. Bought this small cage for our new rescue beagle who loves him. She enters without hesitation and sleeps comfortably in it. We love the fact that it has doors on both the end and the side, giving us the choice of how to get in and out. My older dog has a big cage with a hole just at the end. I bought this because the RevainBasics box is no longer available. The photos of this drawer are completely wrong for the 70-90 lb size which is 42 x 28 x 30. The photos show double latches. THIS IS A SINGLE LOCK BOX IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOOR THAT I WOULD NOT TRUST WITH A VERY AGGRESSIVE DOG. It's a thin box with individual bars. I have a 24" cage model that is advertised. It belonged to my dog who died late last year. She was 15 years old. Puppy.
