Perfect for my needs

I don't have many fittings that need lubrication and this was perfect for my needs. I loaded it manually (no cartridge) and the butt worked fine.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I'll write back

Zerk won't let go.

Error disconnecting with zerk. I ended up having to unscrew the tip of the gun, and then I was able to remove it from the SLR. The gun worked well, but it needs modification to make it easier to detach the SLR.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Miscellaneous

Proper saving means cheap

No slot to hold piston when loading, had to use a vise. Even with light lithium grease, filling is difficult, and after use, the pressure of the plunger spring causes constant leakage from the nozzle. I didn't expect that from a branded product.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Housing tube defective

The gun worked well, but it was extremely difficult to remove from the SLR. I think the body tube is not done properly. The grease cartridge could not be removed from the housing tube when the cartridge was empty. We used the players, then the vise and couldn't remove the cartridge. I threw the gun away after first use.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Absolutely HORRIBLE

This item should not be sold on Revain. It pairs well with Zerk fittings, but will not loosen or loosen. I tried it on three fittings and had to pry open or break one fitting. I twisted and twisted and wiggled and tugged at it, but I had to take a flathead screwdriver and pry it off. A new tip cost me more than this whole grease gun. Buy this as a gift for someone you don't like.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Very handy, I have one on every device. Good price.

Low cost maintenance. Having a little grease gun like this in the toolbox of every truck, baler, or mower reminds me to make a few squirts instead of waiting until the next time I'm near a workshop with this gear. A trickle of grease saves repair hours/dollars. Tip: When loading the cartridge, fully coat the gun cap with lube to fill the nozzle.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Modern

I love it and there is more to get here.

Grease Gun works well. The clutch is a bit difficult to release. A great accessory kit with a coupler that is easier to remove and install is the Lubrimatic 27 Piece Grease Gun Accessory Set (#05-065) which includes many useful attachments. If not using a grease cartridge, the plunger can be pulled back and locked in place while you manually add grease with a spatula/spoon/other grease gun. The grease gun makes a robust and well-made impression. So far no problems.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Not bad but...

It sucks. fits tools and equipment

Loaded the cassette tonight which wasn't easy. Bought a hinge lubrication tool for my jeep. The very first hinge and mirror were well loaded with grease, but they couldn't remove it. When trying to remove the grease gun from the mirror, the mirror broke. After running the mirror, I couldn't remove it from the gun even by other available means. Save money, buy better guns. That $10 pistol cost me at least $100 plus a lot of time. PS I've used Reese pistols for other applications before, that's…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Upgradable
