Fun science activity!

I gave this to a first grader and the kids loved it. Some took them home and made kaleidoscopes out of them, while others just played with them as they are - very nice. The price is a bit high and the first package I received only had half of the discs, but Revain quickly fixed the problem for me and the kids were very happy with the rainbow makers :)

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Can't remember

they love learning about rainbows and how to make them

I give my students rainbow eyes as a reward. When they see a rainbow I tell them about the refraction and they want to know more. As science teachers in a socio-economic setting, most students are not given many material things, so they are grateful and curious when rewarded. They also enjoy learning about the rainbow and how it is formed.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Available in white only

When looking through, each light source turns into shimmering rainbows. The kids love them and if I ever get blue I blink into one of them and the rainbow really lifts my…

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Disappear
