Fits like a glove - Interior

Fits and works perfectly. Fixed driver side window bug. Remember that only the switch can solve the problem and not the entire window regulator.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Don't waste time buying/ really honest reviews

Get what you paid for, I recommend going for this instead if you have the time. Dispatched 6 days so I only buy it here, the baseplate fits flush and nice but the plugs must be lost and the baseplate is too big for the screws not to fit, the new regulator is also Dorman branded but it seems , as if the switch is not powerful enough to power it OTHERS!

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Wow. just wow. . for spare parts

Wow. just wow. I really thought I would have to spend a mint to fix the driver's side window. Thanks to Switch Doctor, I was wrong! At over $200 new I figured I could try $25 without expecting it to even work. 2 minutes after opening the package my window rolled up again. I'm really amazed at this quality. And a lifetime guarantee on top of that? Why haven't you bought this yet?

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • High price

Poor installation etc. Windows fall off although

Works but the connector on the back of the controller has no clips to hold the plug. I had to use tape to hold the connections together. Also, the power window switches are very tight, but you can get used to them. Overall not a great fit but my windows roll up. So if you're looking for a cheaper parting option, this will do. If it weren't for my scrap car, I'd be very happy to return it.

Pros
  • Test results are stable

Switch does not fit '96 Accord LX

I bought this for a '96 Accord LX wagon. Look at the lip shape between auto and on. On the SwitchDoctor, it has a beveled edge. But the original block has a square edge. As a result, it does not fit into the cavity of the mounting plate. The single screw on the bottom of the switch is also in the wrong position and doesn't match the hole in the mounting plate. The switch does not fit and the return date has already passed. I am extremely disappointed.

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Quality

New switch works fine

I needed to replace the power window switch on my 1996 Honda Accord. The switch I had to replace is the same brand as the one I bought from Revain. It was supposed to have a lifetime warranty but it stopped working and I called them (Switch Doctor) and they didn't answer. I didn't have any paperwork so for $25 it wasn't worth sending the old switch back and messing around with them to replace it. I paid about $45 for the first one, so $25 seems reasonable. If my experience is how long theseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Requires socket

I had the problem best in the interior

I have a 1997 Accord Wagon LX. When I pulled out the door panel and started screwing on the new fuse box it only matched 1 hole. It took some effort, but I had a second strip of screws from another one out of sheer necessity to get it into the hole. The third screw was misplaced and couldn't be used at all and I had to use 2 tubes of CA to get some rest and it's clearly misaligned no matter what I did to get it to work. Maybe because I have the latest generation or something, but I would buyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Build Quality
Cons
  • Doubt

Tightening the 2 screws next to the ON/OFF switch was difficult. Once tightened, the entire assembly would fall partially through the door panel if sufficient force was applied. I won't lie, I got angry. Each time this happened, my buddy applied counterforce to the top of the assembly while I did the same on the bottom, screwing in more screws. However, it has partially failed, albeit a little less than before. I said "The hell with that" and put the door panel back in a nice and tidy placeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say
