Good in an Emergency - Tools and Equipment

These items are primarily for single use. They do not withstand the load in the long term and are not of good quality. It's cheaply made, but it serves its purpose.

Pros
  • Excellent General Specifications
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Excellent tool for occasional use

For one off or occasional use this is an unbeatable tool. A technician who regularly works on internal tie rods needs a tubular tool. Very well made, and its clumsiness is offset by its cost.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad

Easy to use Good for tools and equipment

Used to replace the inner tie rods on my 2006 Ford Escape. Easily snap on and off the tie rod with no hassles. Glad I bought this one as there were no flats on the tie rods to allow for a different style. Worth the $11.50 it cost. Well indicated for a likely one time use.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Fits most inner tie rod ends

Slightly slower to use (sometimes you need to tighten and reposition the u-bolt) but this little tool can work on almost any inner tie rod end. I love versatile tools that work and don't take up a lot of space in my box and this is one of them. If someone has used thread lock before and you have to unscrew the inner tie rod ends it would be very slow but I have not come across thread lock on any of the inner tie rod ends I have made.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Available in white only
