Gemini Is A Good But Conservative Exchange Platform

The Gemini cryptocurrency trading platform is an American based trading platform that facilitates the trading and exchange of digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The exchange was launched in 2015 by no other than the Winklevoss twin brothers. These were the same set of people who claimed that Mark Zuckerberg stole his idea of Facebook from them. Ever since they came to public light they have made outstanding investments in the crypto world, one of which is the Gemini Exchange.

The exchange is based in New York, and has become quite popular among crypto traders worldwide. Although it can't compete with the likes of Binance, the exchange is doing well and has a 24 hour trading volume that places it at spot 39 on the global list. For now, Gemini only lists two major trusted currencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum. Gemini accepts fiat deposit only in the form of USD and also cryptocurrencies as well. You can deposit funds with BTC and ETH.

To deposit your funds is free of charge, but the charges and fees you pay on the exchange is quite different from what you have in other crypto exchanges. On Gemini, the fees you pay depend on your trading volume. So, if you are a heavy trader, you pay more than a light trader. However, most people have complained about the fees saying it is too high. To open an account I clicked the register button on the page and asked to input my phone number, then, link up my bank account. After this you will have to submit a KYC form. You account won't be verified immediately, it will take a few days.

I see very clearly that the exchange is very secure and that is why a lot of people trust it. I can also say from experience that the exchange will be better enjoyed by big time crypto traders. Gemini is a fine platform to begin your trading experience with.
