🚗 K&N 2015-2019 Ford F150 2.7L V6 Cold Air Intake Kit: Maximize Horsepower and Performance (63-2593) Review

I like the sound and the increased performance. However, I bought this based on reviews for an MPG boost. I've actually seen a drop both around town and on the highway. I'll wait until there's a pause to see if that makes a difference before going back to stock.

Well made 2.7 EcoBoost kit. Don't expect diesel-level turbo sound due to the smaller 2.7 turbo. With the windows down, it's louder than the original. You can hardly hear it with the windows open because the new trucks are much better soundproofed. A slight improvement in the pant's fit feel compared to the k&n panel filter I had before. The only problem seems to be that the thin rubber grommet for the metal patch box to the factory box is too short if you camber as instructed.

My kit looked like it was repackaged. and the kit, although a good fit, did not fit where the O2 sensor was for the F150. I had to purchase a separate wiring harness to extend the wiring. K&N customer service was quick to respond, but on a few occasions they were inaccurate. one said to have the pendant as a set and said they would send it to me. waited, and then was told it wasn't in the kit. after installation seems to work fine but installation was frustrating.

took 30 minutes on my 2015 2.7 liter eco. Give it a little more aggressive sound, you can turn the turbo a little better. I used to drive in Sport mode most of the time, now I drive it without Sport and it drives smoother, oddly it shifts better too. As for the mileage, I'm not sure yet, but it seems like it won't be more than half a gallon more from 18.5-19. Definitely worth it for a $260 truck guy. Details appear to be of excellent quality.
