    Works great in my 2019 Honda HR-V and very easy to set up

    I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up! I really thought I had to download firmware updates, spin clockwise 19 times, donate goats, etc. but it took about 2 minutes. AND I LOVE HAVING A WIRELESS GAME!

    Hope you don't need support!

    I bought this unit in April and after 41 days it stopped working. Revain was contacted and they stated that the return period is in 30 days and they need to contact the manufacturer. I emailed the manufacturer, filled out the contact form on their website and sent a request via WhatsApp, but a week later still no response or confirmation from Carlinkit. Was working great until it broke so be careful if you need assistance.

    Just like wired carplay

    I installed this in my 2019 UConnect 8.4 RAM used with an iPhone 12. Setup was easy, as was the software update, which I did just before using it. Because the RAM powers the USB ports when the door is open, Carplay is usually on my screen and visible before I turn on the car. Otherwise, the delay is no more than a few seconds. All in all a much better experience than I expected.

    Every day connection problems

    Carlinkit works fine after connecting to Apple Carplay. My problem is that it connects every day. I had to separate it from my car. Turn off my WiFi on my phone and wait a minute. I then connected the device and turned on Wi-Fi on the phone. In most cases the connection was successful, but sometimes I had to repeat the process. My car is a 2018 Mercedes GLE 350. I had problems with iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. I used it for about 2 weeks until I returned it. I'd rather plug in my phone than deal…

    Rating is based on a 2014 Mazda 3 with the manufacturer-enhanced Carplay main unit. Pairing was a bit finicky as I had to toggle Bluetooth on and off a few times on my phone. Don't forget to turn off Bluetooth in every vehicle. After pairing, the most important thing is to check for updates. Mine (Mazda) kept shutting down until I installed the latest March updates.     February 2021 Review: If you buy this unit and plug it into your car and it won't turn on (LED off) it's because you plugged in the wrong end.     It works great on a 2021 Mazda CX5 but it took me 2 hours to figure it out. First, don't read the instructions. They claim that you plug it in and then connect it to Bluetooth and you're done. But that's not it at all. It doesn't even transmit a Bluetooth signal until you update the firmware on the box.     2018 Honda Accord - works great even with a phone in your pocket

    Installation should be easy but for some reason it took more than 10 attempts to get it working. It had power because the device had a red light, but the device didn't show the expected screen. Then, without knowing what I had changed, it just started working. On my phone I had to go into the Bluetooth connection and "forget" the car. Or maybe the cable was loose. Not sure.     This one is better

    So Revain doesn't like my reviews and they just deleted them and don't show them anymore. I will try again. This is the version that Carlinkit calls 2.0 and is the latest version as far as I know. It uses 5GHz WiFi to connect your phone to your stereo and activate Carplay. It takes 20-30 seconds to connect and then everything works fine. I have this on a Kenwood DMX7706S secondary master and it works great.
