Effortlessly thread with the Century Drill Tool

This tool proved to be a valuable addition to my cutting set. As a result of my tests, I determined that the hexagon die produced precise and clean threads with minimal effort. The quality of the threads stood out, leaving me impressed with its utility. My only qualm is the price. Nevertheless, it is a top contender for those seeking quality cutting tools in the Industrial and Scientific category.

Pros
  • Easy to grip with the hexagonal shape.
Cons
  • Not suitable for tasks requiring precise angles or tight spaces.

I made a compression adapter for a long overhang.

I used this tap on an adapter I made so I could do a compression test on my 1995 Jeep and it worked great and made good threads. It was very easy to use.

Pros
  • Designed for manual threading
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked well on dies

Need to thread the inside toe bars on my F150 has more toe adjustment since I dropped the truck 3 inches forward. I was a bit skeptical about this being the right thread because it cleaned up the original thread so much. I end up cutting both sides 1/2" beyond the factory thread. Debts worked great!

Pros
  • Heat treat and temper for hard thread files and longer life
Cons
  • Some minor things
