The ingredients make me feel safe feeding my cat. This affects weight control. My cat is eating less but loves food at the same time. I hate cat food which makes cats addicted and end up eating more, buying more food and gaining weight. Chicken Soup for Weight and Maturity is good for weight control and for cats that have fewer teeth.

My cat, used to canned chicken based cat food, refuses to eat this product. After throwing it away as it comes straight out of the jar I tried diluting it with some water but to no avail. I've tried mixing it with solid cat food, which he likes, but after a while he refuses to eat it. I tried 5 different jars but threw away most of the contents. I am very disappointed and would appreciate a full refund.

Same excellent quality as before. Smells like chicken soup. Cats are crazy about it. But DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON REFUND OR REPLACEMENT NO INCORRECT SHIPPING. The best time is September. 20-22 MY CAT IN THE HOSPITAL. The other 3 refused to eat it. But I foolishly mixed with animal feed. So they ate it. Eventually he refused to eat. I have 3 kittens 6 months old. 2 kittens didn't eat at all. The third kitten ate it. A few weeks later, after eating, she began to cry very loudly. I'm guessing it's from soy and corn, and who knows what else. If the other kittens had eaten it and they were fine, this review would not have been made. But since only one kitten ate it, I'll herd it after a while if it has any problems. Our cat goes to the vet.

Please read the listing carefully, this is 1 can, not a full box of 24 cans as stated in the price. I bought a box of this feed at list price in March 2020. When it came time to backorder in mid-August, I just found and backordered my March order. What I got for over $33 was a can, the list was obviously messed up. The food itself is very tasty, my cat eats it without any problems. The problem was that out of 24 cans, 2 were completely missing and 14 had large to severe dents. I don't feel safe serving cat food from a badly dented can. This product is good value for quality cat food but I don't think it's worth the hassle and worry about the condition of the jars.
