When I tried this product, there was a significant lack of adhesive power. The Crafts Square Melt Mini Sticks is not up to par for those looking for a durable and strong adhesive for industrial and scientific crafting projects. The only upside is its small size, which makes it good for smaller applications.

Not only can you get the same pack of 20 at your local Dollar Tree for less than $7, but even for $1 I won't buy it again. I tried sticking mini clothespins to the berry sticks for our Christmas tree so it's a no-brainer, but half of them fell off before I even tried them on the tree. Instead, I always take that dollar now and buy 10 packs of Ad Tech Multi-Temp Glue Sticks for $0.97 at Wal-Mart because they're a much better quality.

These glue sticks are for light, non-critical applications. I found they don't work well if you're sticking something to a smooth or shiny surface. They can work well in these situations if you sand the area with sandpaper etc, but other than that I've found that this particular low strength hot glue tends to flake off any smooth surface.
