I have a Kenmore refrigerator in my garage that opens the freezer door when you close it. And with 4 kids in the house I can't count on them to notice. In any case, this bar has a great design, but the supplied adhesive stickers are absolutely useless. UPDATE 12/15/2015: The lock was great until a kid discovered we were rigging it to open the freezer. So he walked over and ripped the latch off pretty easily. I can't force him to stay.
